DRANG WATERFALL
"Kashmir’s Ice Queen of the North"
Located just 3 KM from Tangmarg (on the way to Gulmarg), Drang Waterfall is a hidden marvel that has recently taken the world by storm. Fed by the crystal-clear Ferozepur Nallah, this spot transforms dramatically with the seasons, offering a completely different soul in summer and winter.
❄️ The Winter Magic (Jan - Feb)
In the peak of winter, the waterfall completely freezes, creating a curtain of giant, glassy icicles that hang off the jagged rocks. Surrounded by deep snow and the misty spray of the stream below, it feels like standing inside a fairytale. It is widely considered the most beautiful frozen waterfall in Kashmir.
